Dadagiri Unlimited

Dadagiri Unlimited is a quiz show broadcast in Zee Bangla, hosted by former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly. Seasons 1 & 2 were aired on the time slot of Thurs-Sat 9.30-11pm. The contestants are chosen by a selection round and everyone represents their respective district of West Bengal. It first premiered in 2009 and 2010 had a second season. In 2009, Kolkata won the finale( ShahRukh Khan was celebrity guest in the finale episode of the first season.); and in season 2, North 24 Parganas bagged the win. Dadagiri season 3 was organized in 2012 and was hosted by Mithun Chakraborty.[1] Bardhaman bagged the trophy of session 3.[2] The season 4 started from August 26, 2013 and ended on February 23, 2014. This season, the main host, Sourav Ganguly hosted the show. The show was aired during 10:00 - 11:30 PM, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. In season 4, North 24 Parganas bagged the win for the second time.( Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan were the celebrity guest in finale episode of season 4,came to promote their film Shaadi Ke Side Effects.)The person who finishes his/her fifty runs fastest he/she gets 50 Thousand rupees.The person who finishes his/her century the fastest he/she gets 1 Lakh rupees.Some special episodes are held in which celebrity actor/actress/ singer/dancer,etc. of West Bengal come and play for the last six districts of West Bengal to improve their condition.

1. Selection Round

The contestants from 19 districts of West Bengal with Probasi Bangali in the final contestant being from outside West Bengal compete with a question. They have to answer the question by pressing buttons against the options.The fastest 6 contestants with the right answers get to play the main game . The other 14 contestant can play by helping the 6 players in Powerplay Round and Cover Drive Round.

Dadagiri Unlimited is the most popular & entertaining quiz show of Zee Bangla, hosted by former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly, our beloved DADA. It is a light hearted entertaining quiz show which has always received unprecedented success in Bengal and outside. Dadagiri Unlimited is back with another season 'Dadagiri Unlimited season 5' which promises the same thrill and fun as its earlier season with power-packed questions and mind-boggling quizzes.

Contestants from 20 districts of Bengal and 1 probashi bengali participate in the initial selection round. Eminent personalities from different walks of life participates in special episodes & grace the show from time to time. The show features contestants who have excelled in their respective fields,viz, a man who has explored over a 100 countries on bicycle to a rickshaw puller who has built a school in his native village for impoverished children.

The show in its 5th Season aims at celebrating individual success on a bigger platform and inspire many others to script their own success story.
